Instead of choosing a color from a small catalog photograph, use this five-step approach.
Step 1: Look at the Turf Outdoors
View the sample under direct sunlight as well as indirect daylight.
Step 2: Compare a Large Sample
A 30 × 30 cm sample can look very different from a 50–100 m² installation.
Step 3: Look at the Fibers From Different Angles
Artificial turf changes in appearance depending on viewing direction because the fibers reflect light differently.
Step 4: Compare With the Surrounding Landscape
Put the sample next to:
- paving,
- walls,
- trees,
- flowers,
- furniture,
- natural stone.
The surrounding colors can change how green the turf appears.
Step 5: Check Color Stability Documentation
For outdoor projects, don’t evaluate today’s color alone. Ask how the product performs after accelerated light and weathering exposure.
