There are five features that come together to define each type of fake grass

The four most common uses for artificial grass are yards, other outdoor living areas, dog kennels and play spaces, and backyard putting greens. But you don’t have to stop there. You can create a bocce court, “grow” your own rooftop or balcony grass, or carpet your kid’s bedroom. Artificial grass can be perfectly practical – such as replacing your natural grass lawn – or wildly imaginative.

2. Physical characteristics

There are five features that come together to define each type of fake grass:

  • Density
  • Pile height
  • Durability
  • Feel
  • Color

Other features can sometimes come into play as well. For example, architects or designers working to achieve LEED certification must use products that meet specific sustainability requirements.

3. Quality

Unfortunately, it is not difficult to find poor-quality artificial grass on the market today. And this is one case where you get what you pay for. Cheap fake grass won’t look as good, perform as well, or last as long as you had hoped. Not even close. Heavenly Greens sells only superior quality products, because we want every one of our customers to see gorgeous, reliable, long-lasting results.

Poor quality installation workmanship will undermine your project, too. Even the best product cannot make up for inadequate or improper installation. That’s why Heavenly Greens does not subcontract this work. Instead, we use our own highly-trained crews that are experienced installing your type of grass and project.
